La Fortuna Waterfall by Car
The length of the tour is approximately four hours. After a brief 3 mile ride through the countryside, where you will see traditional Costa Rican cattle farms and agriculture you will reach the entrance to the forest. During your hike to the 200 ft high La Fortuna Waterfall, your guide will point out and discuss the plants and animals of the forest. At the base of the waterfall there is a “natural pool” where you can swim in the fresh water of La Fortuna river.
Half day.
What to bring: long pants, hiking shoes, bathing suit, towel, camera and binoculars.
