Safari Kayak Float

After a brief 20 minute-drive to the lower Peñas Blancas River, we on this slower moving section of the river. Enjoy a relaxing 2 hour float with only the incredible sounds of nature around you. Our bilingual naturalist guide will describe species of flora and fauna of the region. Monkeys, sloths, iguanas, caymans (minature crocodiles) and numerous tropical birds await you! Along the way we will stop to spend time with a typical Costa Rican farmer and his family. They will prepare some wonderful Tico dishes for you as they share their life story. We also enjoy the rare opportunity to explore, and learn more about the many riches of the virgin tropical rainforest on their farm. Finally we re-board the rafts for our final 40 minute float to Boca Arenal while we continue to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The return trip to La Fortuna allows you to see the extensive agriculture system of San Carlos County.
